Wanaka is still a rural area and has a fairly large
cowboy population, so when
the rodeo came to
town, it was a real test-your-skills-as-a-cowboy rodeo, not one of those
put-on-a-glitzy-show-for-the-spectators rodeo.
Joe, Cassidy and David went over to check it out (it was
a pretty toasty day so Paula opted out).
Cassidy really liked watching the boys (yup, I reckon
they were pretty young)
chasing the calves (yup, them too).
